Dedicated to the success and advancement of tea in our region, Tea in Texas
magazine hosts a unique networking opportunity for Tea Lovers in the South
Texas region. The 2010 TEA Affair will introduce distinctive tips for using tea
in unique ways. This February, join tea aficionados in the fine town of Alvin ,
TX where you can unplug and enjoy Texas Hospitality .
There will be an Afternoon Tea, Tea Talk on the History of Tea Rooms, a
cooking demo on the Health Benefits of Tea, a tour of the Marguerite Rogers
House Victorian Museum and more.
All attendees receive Certificate of Participation, tea samples and gift bags.
Event will be held at the historically renovated Train Depot on Sunday,
February 28th from 1-7 pm. Cost: $99/person. Discounts available for groups
of 4+. Exceptional time for all!
Optional: Come early and enjoy tours of Historic Alvin and Froberg’s Farm
Market. $25, 9:30-12:30 pm

three-tiered Afternoon Tea service with assorted finger sandwiches, traditional
scones served with lemon curd and clotted cream, a light dessert, and your
choice of a pot of tea.
